Do you have an inner child that is suffering? What causes a wounded inner child?

When children are emotionally and mentally injured, neglected or even abused in childhood, those inner wounds never heal.

The inner child is a subconscious part of the mind where we carry our unmet needs, suppressed childhood emotions, our creativity, our intuition and our ability to play.

Healing your inner child can take time as one has to deal with blockages, taking care of your needs, centring and grounding , shifting energies.

Time does not heal all wounds. It just gives them space to sink into the subconscious where they will still impact your emotions and behaviour.

Healing comes not only from releasing emotions but also from shifting our perception of the difficult events.

Life is full of emotional turmoil is that we need to heal. This is where emotional healing comes into help.

We are powerful creators of our own life reality and we benefit from taking responsibility for our own emotions, health, happiness and healing.

Consider Emotional Healing

Emotional healing is a process of accepting all your painful life experiences and the negative emotional reactions which are generated from them.

It helps you to -

  • Deal with childhood trauma immediately

  • Identify core issues with pain

  • Identify when the problem started

  • Acknowledge and recognise the trauma for what it is

  • Seek support and don’t isolate yourself

  • Clear limiting beliefs

  • Make a list of all issues you can remember

  • Identify what is a traumatic event

  • Identify and replace unhealthy thought patterns

  • Triggers or life events

  • Write your limiting beliefs

  • Forgive yourself and others

Find a good therapist. They can help you through the dark days probably better than anyone else. That is what they are trained to do.

Life really is better when you heal your emotions. Just keep trying.

Don’t give up on yourself without trying for at least a couple of weeks.

We are powerful creators of our own life reality and we benefit from taking responsibility for our own emotions, health, happiness and healing.
